1. How do I make a purchase on Rooted?
Browse the marketplace, choose your product or service, and check out securely through our payment options.
2. Who am I purchasing from?
All purchases are made directly from independent vendors. Vendors are not employees or partners of Rooted.
3. What if I have an issue with my order?
If you have an issue with your purchase (product quality, delays, refunds, etc.), you must first contact the vendor directly. Vendors are fully responsible for handling returns, refunds, and disputes.
4. What if the vendor does not respond?
If a vendor fails to respond within a reasonable time, you may escalate the matter through your payment processor (Stripe, PayPal, or your card provider). Rooted does not issue refunds or mediate disputes.
5. Are returns or exchanges guaranteed?
No. Each vendor has their own policies for refunds, returns, and exchanges. Please review the vendor’s policy before placing an order.
6. Is Rooted responsible for product quality or authenticity?
No. Vendors are independent and are solely responsible for their products and services. Rooted does not warrant or guarantee product quality, authenticity, or suitability.
For Vendors
1. How do I become a vendor on Rooted?
To join as a vendor, you must:
- Create a vendor account on the Rooted platform.
- Provide accurate and complete business details.
- Connect a Stripe Express account for payouts. Stripe requires verification, which typically takes 24–48 hours to process. You may not list products until verification is complete.
- Set up a full shipping profile (methods, costs, and regions served).
- Complete your vendor profile with all required information (logo, business name, policies, contact info).
2. When can I start listing products?
You may only begin listing products after all requirements are met:
- Your Stripe Express account has been fully verified and approved (this review may take 24–48 hours).
- Your shipping profile is active and complete.
- Your vendor profile is filled out in full.
3. Does Rooted handle shipping?
No. Vendors are responsible for managing and fulfilling their own shipping policies. Customers pay the shipping rates you set.
4. How do I get paid?
Payments are processed through Stripe Express. Payouts are made according to Stripe’s processing times and policies. Rooted does not control the timing of vendor payouts.
5. Who is responsible for refunds and returns?
Vendors are solely responsible for creating, displaying, and honoring their refund, return, and exchange policies. Rooted does not issue refunds on behalf of vendors.
6. Can Rooted remove my products or account?
Yes. Rooted reserves the right to suspend or terminate vendor accounts for incomplete setup, failure to comply with requirements, violation of our Terms & Conditions, or non-compliance with applicable laws.
